1. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The wellbeing of our customers, employees and our service providers is our utmost top priority.

We continue to make sure our team, community and customers are protected and safe by following the current guidelines and restrictions set out by the Australian government.  

To maintain appropriate physical distancing and ensure the process is safe for you and the drivers, you will receive SMS and/or email notification about the status of your delivery.

2. Delivery

Unix Solutions offer the following delivery services. Please note that only items shown as In Stock (stock errors excepted) in the product listing will be dispatched in accordance with the customer’s delivery service selection.

  • Standard Next Day Dispatch

All orders placed before 2 PM will be under the Standard Next Day Dispatch. Depending on where you are in Australia, you will receive your parcel accordingly within the Delivery Times listed under Section 5 below.

  • Click and Collect

NOTE: Please provide a street address for delivery as we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

We offer a one-off sample purchase on our website. If you wish to purchase in bulk, feel free to reach out to us or any of our partners to discuss your bulk quote requirements.

While our couriers make every effort to deliver parcels within our delivery time frame, we cannot guarantee delivery times due to reasons beyond our control including but not limited to COVID-19 restrictions and natural disasters. We do not have full control over the contracted freight companies we use and will not be responsible for any delays or issues with the delivery through the freight company.

We will not be liable for late deliveries, or any loss, damage or cost incurred due to late delivery.

Your continued participation and Placement of Order with us will confirm your acceptance of the policy above. Therefore, you should review these terms and conditions frequently that apply to the Delivery Times and Methods.

6. Delivery Charges

We strive to bring the best shipping rates for our customers, so all our shipping rates are calculated live at the Checkout page. These rates are negotiated to ensure you receive the best and discounted rates.

You can check your live shipping rates using our Live Shipping calculator available on each product detail page. Just simply enter your Postcode and you can check the available delivery methods and rates before adding to cart.

  • Unix L-Shaped Box

All our ‘No Tools Required’ range are packed in our unique L-Shaped Box. Our ‘No Tools Required’ range offers easy and quick assembly. Browse No Tools Required Range >   

  • Rectangular Unix Box

Other chairs not classified under the ‘No Tools Required’ are placed in the rectangular Unix Box.

  • Order Returns, Cancellations & Changes

As the customer, can I cancel the order after it has been paid and processed?

You cannot cancel your online order once it has been paid and processed You are however entitled to return your purchase under the following conditions:

  • Faulty Goods;
  • Goods Damaged in Transit;
  • Wrong item Received.

Can Unix Solutions cancel a customer’s order?

Unix Solutions reserve the right to cancel an order any time before delivery and for whatever reason under the following circumstances:

  • Unix Solutions’ suppliers are unable to supply Goods that they have previously promised to supply;
  • An incident beyond Unix Solutions’ control, for example war, strike, flood, fire, storm, earthquake, terrorism or failure of computer systems, in which Unix Solutions is unable to supply the goods within a reasonable time;
  • Items ordered were subject to an error on Unix Solutions website, including but not limited to the price, image or description, which was not discovered before the Order was accepted.

9.Other Conditions

  • Custom Made-to-Order Products & Pre-order Items

All custom-made items including but not limited to Build Your Own chairs and specially upholstered chairs, are non-returnable. Any items that have the “Pre-Order” label attached are items that we order with our supplier once the customer places the order with us.

Any time or date for delivery stated by Unix Solutions for custom made items as described above shall be treated as an estimate only. While our couriers make every effort to dispatch and deliver the items within the time frame quoted, Unix Solutions does not accept any liability for failure to deliver within the specific time period stated. 

Unix Solutions will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the delay in the delivery of any of the goods.

Any Pre-Order items that are cancelled after the order has been placed with the supplier will be subjected to order cancellation fees of 15% of the item value.

  • Length of Warranty

Each product is subject to its own warranty period. Please refer to the relevant product detail page for an accurate warranty period.

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the accuracy of the information on the site. However, we do not guarantee that the information such as colours, features, descriptions, and warranty details of the products will be accurate, complete, reliable, current, or free of other errors, and your electronic display may not accurately reflect the actual colours and details of the products.

  • Warranty Does not Cover

  1. Any normal wear and tear
  2. Products or components that have been subject to customer abuse, misuse, negligence, unauthorised service, modifications, improper installation or damage caused by accident.
  3. Products not used for the purpose for which it is intended and the application for which it was designed. For example, products subjected to weights that exceed maximum stated weight capacity.
  4. Damage incurred during transit
  5. Modifications or attachments that are not approved by Unix Solutions
  6. This warranty applies only to the original purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claim.

10. Privacy Policy

Unix takes the privacy of our customers very seriously. We only collect your personal information to process any warranty purchase, returns or repairs (i.e. Your Name, E-mail, Address, Shipping & Delivery Information) upon your approval.

All prices quoted online include GST. All prices quoted online exclude shipping and delivery charges.
